The British Youth Council, (BYC) is an organisation which gives young people a voice and be active citizens of their community. Our team is based in London but we are active throughout the UK . Not only do we think it's really important to give young people the opportunity to volunteer and become more involved in their region, but also the V volunteers also give us a chance to understand what young people really care about. With the help of all the new Regional Volunteers we hope to get young people out there and have their voice heard.

Little glimpse into something BYC's International department work...

In November 2005, BYC held a free event for UK young people called Rebel Youth. This free event celebrated UK Youth and the EU Presidency. It was a unique opportunity for young people to network and chat with people from the music industry, attend a break dance workshop, hip hop and drumming workshops and find out how they could get cash to go to Europe!
